Convertify's Repair PDF tool attempts to reconstruct the document's internal structure using PDF-Lib's error-tolerant parsing, recovering as much content as possible from the corrupted file.
Repair success depends on severity: minor structure errors (missing EOF markers, small cross-reference table gaps) fix completely. Severe corruption (file truncated to 20% of original size, overwritten sectors) may recover partial content — some pages but not all, or text without images. The tool always shows you how many pages were successfully recovered before download.
